Sunny Brae Middle School, also known as Sunny Brae Middle or SBMS, is a middle school in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada.

History

Sunny Brae Middle School was established in 1907 as Sunny Brae School. The original building, containing three classrooms and a meeting hall, was located in what is now Humphrey's Memorial Park on Massey Avenue. The present school, located on Curry Street, opened in 1956.

Up until the mid 1990s, it housed grades K-9, but after a rework of the provincial school system, grade 9 was amalgamated into high schools (which originally started with grade 10). Shortly after this, the school was re-designated a middle school, housing only grades 5-8.
